Green Vegetables For A Slender Body

vegetablesWhen you are trying to watch your waistline, the trick is to eat a lot of green vegetables.

Why? The answer is because green vegetables, such as broccoli, spinach, lettuce, and green beans contain fiber.

Fiber helps in digestion, removing excess wastes from your body. Studies have shown that fiber also increases your metabolism, helping your body burn fat faster and more efficiently.

One way to increase your green vegetable intake is to eat more salad. Salads are a great choice because they are easy to make, you have so many choices in what to put in them, like arugula and cabbage, and they are nutritious.

Eating plenty of green vegetables makes you feel fit and light because they contain vitamins and minerals that keep your body slim and healthy. The vitamins and minerals found in green vegetables are great for your skin too, so not only will you be trim but your appearance will improve as well.

Another positive result of eating green vegetables that are high in fiber is that it has been shown to increase your chances for lowering your cholesterol as well as guarding you from developing heart disease.

Keep healthy, go out and stock your refrigerator with green vegetables. And next time you are out at a restaurant, you should consider requesting more greens on your plate.

The other benefit of this is that you can stalk (no pun intended ;) your fridge up, and then go in and out and get what you want and just snack all the time on good stuff. This is filling, convenient and healthy. Good post!
