This study says that all it takes is some simple household routines that could help curtail childhood obesity that is reaching epidemic proportions in the United States.

Child obesity is fueled by lack of exercise and poor diet as well as other lifestyle factors researchers have found. These routines offered protection even among those groups that have a high risk of childhood obesity according to Sarah Anderson, assistant professor of epidemiology at Ohio State University and lead author of the study.
