Middle Age Is Not Too Late To Lose Weight

middle aged womanIt is not too late to lose weight for the middle aged female dieters if they make right changes and follow them.

Karen Foster-Schubert of the Fred Hutchinson, Cancer Research Center in Seattle, says that women who are committed to make changes can lose up to 20 pounds.

Lead investigator Anne McTiernan, director of the Prevention Center at Fred Hutchinson, says that women need to write down what they eat, prepare food at home instead of eating outside and make weight loss a priority.

439 overweight or obese postmenopausal sedentary women are recruited by the researchers, with average age of 57 and average weight of 185 and are assigned to one of four groups: diet only, exercise only, diet and exercise, or no lifestyle changes.
